PHYSIOTHERAPY
All physiotherapy clients are required to have an initial assessment. Within this session an up to date medical history will be taken. When booking your initial assessment, you are consenting to a physical assessment. Depending on the area of your symptoms, you may be asked to remove your outer clothing to aid the assessment. Women’s Health assessment can include an internal examination. The decision to go ahead with this examination is your choice. You may bring a chaperone to the appointment if desired. Recommended treatment approaches, may include manual therapy, acupuncture, taping and exercises. Clients can withdraw consent to assessment and treatment at any time.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a fee of £25, payable through Stripe. The option to cancel is available through you Cliniko booking confirmation.
PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE
Most major private medical companies apart from BUPA are accepted. Please contact your provider to get pre-authorisation, prior to commencing treatment. AXA currently limit their session to 30 min per condition, unless otherwise stated.
All other providers must be paid for by the member and then claimed back from the insurer. You will be provided with a receipt for your records.
CLASSES
All face to face classes are booked directly with DGL Physiotherapy Ltd, as a course. A health questionnaire will be required to be completed prior to attending. You will be receiving Pilates training from qualified Physiotherapist and certified Pilates instructors of DGL Physiotherapy Ltd
PURCHASE POLICY
By initiating your monthly direct debit you confirm you have read and accepted our terms and conditions.
A monthly direct debit is required to sign up for classes. Payments are made online through our online payment system, which is managed by a separate merchant account processor called Stripe.
All payments and programs are non-refundable except for medical emergencies.
Monthly memberships are a one month minimum contract, thereafter one month’s notice must be given to cancel the membership. This must be in the form of email or letter. Payment will be taken from your set up card every month on the same date. Memberships will automatically renew after 12 months.
Monthly direct debit is based on 42 weeks of the year. The 10 weeks holiday will be advised for the year in advance.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All payments and programs are non-refundable except for medical emergencies.
CANCELLATION OF A CLASS
If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please ensure you cancel so other members can utilise their credits. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the class, the credit will be deducted from your block.
To keep your credit please cancel online through the Cliniko system or email delinda@dglphysio.co.uk with at least 48 hours notice.
Class credits are not refundable under any circumstances, however classes can be cancelled or changed if required as long as they meet the requirements of the cancellation policy.
Class credits are not transferable between clients unless under agreement with DGL Physiotherapy Ltd.
Members who fail to show up for their scheduled class will forfeit that booking and payment for that class.
DGL Physiotherapy Ltd has the right to cancel any class that has very low numbers and at short notice. We will advise any cancellation via email. It is the client’s responsibility to check their emails to ensure the class is going ahead that day. If we cancel the class, the client will not lose a credit.
DGL Physiotherapy Ltd reserves the right to make changes to any classes and change instructors at short notice. However, we will try to give you enough notice ahead of time.
ATTENDING CLASS
All members are to contact delinda@dglphysio.co.uk in order to purchase class membership. You will then be advised of the spaces available and block booked into your session for up to three months in advance. If for any reason you can’t make your allotted session, you can cancel it and this credit can be used for another session. Leftover credits must be used within 6 weeks. If you are not able to use your credit, an online class will be sent to cover the credit.
Members who fail to show up for their scheduled class will forfeit that booking and payment for that class. The class will be removed from your series if you have purchased a block of classes.
Participation in both group and individual sessions are at the individual’s own risk. Always listen to your body and exercise at a pace and level which is best for you. Stop if you feel discomfort and let your instructor know.
Classes start on time so out of consideration for the instructor and other class members, please arrive five minutes before your class starts. Late arrivals may be turned away.
Due to COVID mats and small equipment are no longer provided. You will be asked to purchase a small equipment bag when starting any classes. DGL Physiotherapy Ltd do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to client’s own equipment or accidents caused by clients equipment.
Clothing should be close fitting and unrestricting rather than baggy so that the instructor can see how you are moving and help you more easily. Bare feet or socks are fine classes.
Mobile phones should be switched off or on silent during a class except in exceptional circumstances.
Please let your instructor know any changes which may affect your ability to exercise prior to class.

DATA PROTECTION
When booking services with DGL Physiotherapy Ltd you are consenting to your data being stored. This will include you contact details and medical history. This data will be stored securely through the Cliniko software and afterward for the legally required 8 years. You will be consenting to receiving email reminders and notifications. No payment information is retained on the Cliniko software. All information stored is protected under the Data Protection Act 1998.
By agreeing to participate in any service with DGL Physiotherapy Ltd you hereby agree to accept the terms and conditions set out in this document. You acknowledge and agree that DGL Physiotherapy Ltd does not have any liability for and damage or loss to a client’s personal property, which is brought to all clinic and class premises.
Before using any service, it is your responsibility to seek medical advice from a health professional (including those employed by DGL Physiotherapy Ltd), that you are fit and well to attend. We are not liable for any actions or exercises you undertake. You are responsible for your own safety.
