CONTACT US

How long is an initial assessment?

A Mummy MOT and initial woman's health appointment is an hour. During this time we discuss your symptoms, complete and assessment and put together your treatment package.

How many sessions will I need?

This is always a hard question to answer as it will depend on the duration of your symptoms and what we find during assessment. All options are discussed and made together moving forward.

Will I need to have an internal assessment?

Ideally yes! By completing an internal assessment we are able to gather the best information regarding your pelvic floor muscles. If you are not comfortable with this an external assessment can be complete instead.

What should I wear for my appointment?

You may be asked to undress in order for us to examine and treat you. Please wear loose clothing that is easily removed if you can. If you have a knee or ankle condition, then shorts would be ideal. If you have a shoulder or neck issue, wearing a vest can sometimes negate the need for you to fully undress.

If uncomfortable at anytime, please feel free to ask as many questions as you want to.

Can I bring a Chaperone?

You are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member with you to any appointment. If you would like someone in the room with you please arrange for them to come to the appointment with you.
